Me, Myself, & I

The name is Marc’us (but you can call me EViL, or 2uCe). Yes, the apostrophe is supposed to be in there. I didn’t put it in there myself, my mom did, so I’m not trying to be cute by having it in there. She has a belief, and I am with her on this - that a name defines a person, and can very well mold their future. How many Marcus’ do you know? Now, how many of them have an apostrophe in their name? I am one of one.

I’m from South Eastern Pennsylvania, though I was born in Yuba City, California and through circumstances of my father’s employment (non-military, but government job) have lived in California, Alaska (yes, THAT Alaska), Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and now Pennsylvania. At the time of this print I am 29 years old, I’m an amateur screenwriter,  and because of that I daydream a lot. My day job sucks, just like yours probably does, unless you have an awesome one, in which case you SUCK, because I want an awesome job.

We (people in general, don’t get your panties in a knot) use things like Tumblr, Twitter, and/or Facebook to pretend that we’re not where we stand. It’s a distraction from the world. A break from it all. When you start taking things like the internet seriously, you lose the game.

Don’t mind the “EViL” portion of my name, I’m quite friendly and a gentleman. It’s nothing more than an old stage name that was brought about from my aggressive style of writing. I liked it so much, I decided to keep it for social networking. Deal with it.

You’re also probably wondering “WTF is 2uCe?” Well, back in 1998-2002 I rapped in a band, and I took on the name “Evil2uce”, which was just a cute way of saying “mean shit”, as I believed I was when it came to the rap game. It’s pronounced “DEUCE”, not “2 U SEE” or anything like that.

There’s not much in life I don’t like. I love to laugh, and I have an extremely dry sense of humor.

As much as I’d like to believe that there’s someone out there that’s just like me, and you probably wish there were someone out there just like you too … but there’s no one out there with you memories, your pain and your beauty.
